    Thank you for your comment. You made me laugh. I LOVE the idea of taking the kids, maps and binoculars on a train. Unfortunately, that won’t work for my 3 year old and 18 month old. At least not for very long. It sounds like it would be oodles of fun when the kids get older, though. I’ll definitely have to keep that in mind. I may take your idea of mapping, though, and apply it to a van trip. Which is what it looks like we’ll be doing.

    I so hope you’ll let me know how your trip fares (pun intended)(pun is always intended)!!

    Thanks for stopping by :-) I’ll be tweating and posting our family vacation over the next 10 days. Seven hours in and we are having a blast :-)
